News from Autumn 2015. Back to the Blog!

Hello and welcome to November 2015.  Wow, it's been a while since I've been at the blog!  Updating by Twitter (www.twitter.com/DoomMaidens) has really been the fastest and most efficient way of communicating with people, especially when it comes to sharing media pre- and post-filming, so the blog has remained a bit behind-the-times.  But I have some time right now, so let's do some composing.

Costumes & Special Attire

So, first off, yesterday was Halloween, so VeVe took a moment to show off her costume as we played a tad with lighting in the small studio.  She made this tiny little solo video:

Though wrestling in this particular outfit would be somewhat difficult (and not to mention dangerous to the outfit!), I personally think it has some good potential for other on-camera appearances.

And, indeed, we'd love to do even more with costumes and special attire for other future shoots.  In recent months, for general-release videos, we got a chance to try a "Nerdy Girl" catball, an Aerobics catball, cosplay bondage wrestling, a singlets wrestling match, and superheroine battles.  And we saw the appearance of VeVe's spectacular villainess alter-ego The Spider Queen.  But I wonder if we can take this even further, still.

Granted, we've had several custom commissions calling for special attire as well: VeVe's been a sexy boxing librarian, a vintage fashion assassin (retro chique dresses), a pumped-up army assassin, a zentai person, and a skin diver girl.  But I'd like to get more guests and more general release videos in on the costumed action.

Now, mind you, I am not considering leotard & tights combos as part of "special attire," unless they are meant to create a particular type of character.  That would include Lethal Leotards agent attire as well.  Though, granted, perhaps "agent duel" videos should fit into the "special attire" category.  But anyway, I digress...

Catball fights and pro-style videos are great opportunities for special attire.  However, competitive matches make surprisingly good opportunities as well.

I wanted to do more outdoor costumed scenarios and fights this past summer, but we spent so much time filming indoors that we just never had the opportunity to concoct any new outdoor works.  Going "on location" like that requires a fair bit of fore planning, and it is a little tougher when we have visiting guests involved.  But this goes into the "to consider for later" box.

New Faces and Friends

In other news, we've had a wonderful time meeting and filming with visitors and guests from far and wide.

Just last weekend we met with Goddess Anastaxia, an elegant wrestling domina from London.  She's new to wrestling media production, but she has a great look and a confident attitude.  She got to try pro-style for the first time, and she also recorded her first mixed wrestling domination video.  She also entranced Mike with her nylon-clad legs in a Lethal Leotards style pantyhose domination display.

And in September, we met Miss Scorpion, also from London.  Scorpion is more experienced as a wrestler and more experienced on camera.  She and VeVe clashed on the mats in a competitive cosplay bondage wrestling match, where both enjoyed the superheroine vs villainess theme.  They also got sweaty and predatory in a special "Python Battle" match, which featured two of the "Pythons" from the "Python & Prey" videos fighting each other.  Scorpion also tormented VeVe in a pro-style "Dirty Tactics" video.

Bella Ink was back in action with us as well, when she visited this past month.  Bella may have gotten the better of VeVe when she teamed up with Nikki Fierce in August, but October found Bella on the receiving end instead!  Oh yes, VeVe paid her back big time with a spectacularly torment-filled pro-style domination video.  I must say, Bella looked great getting worked over in the pro holds.  And this was Bella's first pro-style experience, too.
VeVe and Bella also locked up on the mats in the previously-mentioned "Nerdy Girls" catball fight.  This catball not only featured special "nerdy" attire attitude and accessories, but it also involved garter belts and stockings.  And it involved the nerds losing their glasses and becoming completely disheveled.  Nerdy girls gone wild, indeed!

And we also got to film with Keri Spectrum in September, who, despite being located closer to us than our other guests, is still not located entirely that close.  Since she moved deeper into New Jersey, we haven't been able to see her as much as priorly, so it was nice to go and visit!  In addition to filming a special commission together, Keri and VeVe rocked the stirrup tights and thong leotards in an "Aerobics" catball fight.
And I also got to be on the receiving end of Keri's meanness in a pantyhose domination wrestling video, by fan request.

People do love when Keri wears sheer black nylons, and she did a great job of showing them off while she was crushing my head and face.  And body.  And legs and arms.  Ouch.
Upcoming from Here

Whew, so, though that was not an exhaustive list of everything that's been done since August, it does put a little spotlight on the guests we've seen.  And speaking of guests, we do have more visitors coming over this coming week.

Tomorrow, we will be filming with returning guest Mahea.  The agenda includes a competitive mixed match of Mahea vs Frankie (yes, we're pleased to have Frankie back for another filming opportunity at last!) and a pro-style match with Mahea and Frankie.  Amazon Annie will also be taking on Mahea in a competitive match for Annie's Bodacious Adventures studio.  And Hanz will *also* be going head-to-head with Mahea for a competitive match for his Mixed Battle Theatre studio as well.  Whew, Mahea's going to sleep well after tomorrow evening's shoot!

Then next Saturday we will have visitor Layla Moore in for a long shoot as well.  On the agenda there, we have Layla and Hanz in a pro-style bout to feature Layla's arsenal of holds and test Hanz's flexibility yet again.  We also have Layla and Adrian in either a pantyhose or spandex domination wrestling display, and then Layla and tiny ShaSha in a competitive female wrestling bout.  Oh boy, that's an intense size mismatch.
Hanz and Layla will also be filming together as well for their respective studios, and I think that will also be a lot of material as well.  Big day!

So!

Ok, I'm out at the cafe now, but I will need to get back to the studio very soon, since we are filming today with Rachel DD, Amazon Annie, and VeVe.  Set up for a special commission request and also a catball fight featuring Annie and Rachel together.  That should be interesting!

All righty, that's it for now!  Until next blog, be sure to find us on Twitter for all in-progress update and photo sharing (www.twitter.com/doommaidens).  Cheers!

October Wrap-Up: Rope, Karate, and New Venues

Hi All - I'm still here!

Well, so, there went October 2013.  It was a good month.  It was a very full and busy month.  But it also somehow felt like a pretty short month.

We kicked off October with our big NYC wrestling filming event, which came fast on the heels of September's visit by Sable and Honey of LWS.  I had just managed to finish the majority of my materials with Sable and Honey (and some September work of VeVe's) when I was hit by the massive amount of footage from the mega event.  But at this point, actually, I'm pleased to say that I've gotten past the mid-way mark on releases from the event.

I think.

Actually, yes.  Just checked my titles list.  Most matches and materials have been released!  So that's where October went while I over at that grindstone.

New Venues and Rope Ties

Also in October, I discovered two new filming spaces.  One is a performance art space with a great underground warehouse or club type feel to it.  The other is actually literally under ground, with bright lighting and plain surroundings.  I thank my buddy Hanz Vanderkill for finding and scouting out space #2 and also for encouraging our very first shoot in space #1.

So, space #1, the "underground warehouse."  Hanz, VeVe, Mahea, and I got together in late October to take a crack at filming at this new venue.  It was a Thursday evening, and the shoot ended up running from about 8-11 pm (right? somehow?).  We had our usual 10' x 20' mat space to work with, some improvised and imported lighting, and a lot to get done.

I first filmed several matches for Hanz.  He had his wrestling rematch against Mahea (at Hanz's store).  He also challenged Mahea to a wrists-bound match.  Then I filmed several variations of contests between Hanz and Mahea, some for him and some for a commission of his.

By the time we wrapped all this up, it was getting a bit late.  VeVe had waited patiently throughout, snapping some pictures with her camera phone.  She and Mahea had intended to do a bondage wrestling match as part of the shoot.  Mahea still had plenty of energy and was good to go, so bondage wrestling was to see us through the evening!

I'll talk more about the bondage wrestling match in the Bondage Wrestling Blog, but I will say a bit here.  So, VeVe was feeling a little pressure since we were coming toward the end of our booking time, and she also had a feeling that Mahea would be a pretty determined escapee... so, VeVe turned on the heat for this match and went into speed-tie mode.  She wasn't going to take any chances or give any wiggle room (haha).  And the end result was a lovely example of deft, skilled, functional, competitive capturing of an opponent via ropes.  Thus we all bore witness to VeVe's fastest real-time hogtie to date.  That's the short version of the story, any way.

So that was a great shoot.  And the space was fun and interesting to work with.  Very spacious too, I must say.

Karate for Amazon Annie

Then how about some words on a shoot in space #2?  Ok, no problem!

So, this shoot technically took place in November, but it was November 1, so I will consider that fair game for the October wrap-up blog.  This was a karate commission with VeVe and Amazon Annie.  Yes, more of Amazon Annie in a karate gi!

We first saw Annie in a gi in Victory Pose Lesson, also featuring VeVe and Adrian.  Granted, this was just a gi jacket.  You see, she worked up gradually to the full attire.

The karate filming featured VeVe and Annie having a sparring match using primarily chop style attacks.  Then Annie performed a variety of karate strike attacks at the camera, which I feel she did very well.  It was quite a time getting POV karate attacked by an amazon!  For example, see below!

I think there will be some more karate and more gi videos for Annie in the future.  After all, amazon feet and karate kicks do make an interesting combination of elements.

And speaking of Annie, she's in Detroit on session tour right now with newcomer Crazy Azy.  Annie's been touring a lot this season, on short single-city stops.  This is Azy's first time on tour.  I'm interested to hear how it goes.

Anyway, my time is short now for the blogging, so I will wrap things up.  Looking forward to things to come and also thinking of my to-do wish list of items...

More for the Lethal Leotards series, potentially with Annie or again with Indra
Matches for Crazy Azy
A competitive mixed match with VeVe and Justin
Candy Pain Lethal Leotards?  Some potential there...

All righty, that's it for now.  Signing off from the blog for today!

Yet More News for July: Upcoming Videos

Hello!

It's still July, and I'm still pulling my hair out over a very, very full queue of video material.  well, no, I'm not really pulling my hair out, but I'm just pretty excited about a lot of the interesting material that is yearning for release.

The frustrating element is that all of these videos are fully completed, yet the the time-consuming process of selecting preview pictures and writing formal descriptions is, well, consuming time.

So here are the informal previews...

In the last entry, I talked about VeVe's Tomoe Nage mixed judo video with Hanz.  Our sponsor/patron for this video then made a request for something I've been hoping to do for some time now.... a multiple attacker judo video!  And we were able to film this fun little experience last week.

Hanz left town on vacation, so VeVe called on some other local male talent to gang up on her for some judo action.  This video featured Thrash, Conrad, and newcomer Donte.  VeVe first judo sparred with Thrash, who then invited Conrad and Donte to join in.  As a result, VeVe fought judo style for about 30 minutes, facing off against opponent after opponent after opponent... and sometimes with the guys attacking immediately one after the other.  It was an awesome and athletic sight, and it really reminded me of a martial arts movie from the 70s-80s.  In particular, it gave me flashes of Enter the Dragon.

Needless to say, VeVe was getting pretty exhausted!  Seriously, she just had to keep throwing and throwing, as these guys cycled in and out, each getting plenty of time to rest.  This one was really exciting.

Here are some really quick screen captures that I grabbed just this minute:

And speaking of Conrad and Donte, earlier this day they also shot another video with VeVe.  This piece, called Strength and Skill, follows a long-loved story line:  Men are training in a gym; woman walks in wearing heels and skirt, asking to train; men laugh at her; she challenges them to test of strength (arm wrestling) and wins; she challenges them to test of skill (wrestling) and wins.... the men get frustrated and double team her... and she defeats them both.

It was a lovely little piece with nice colors, nice light, very aesthetic look, and great athleticism.  Here are some quick screen capture grabs:

Whew!  What else?

I also have an Iron Palm Karate video featuring VeVe and Indra.  This one has been waiting patiently in the to-release queue for a few months now.  Basically, in this piece, VeVe demonstrates her new "Iron Palm" and "Iron Kick" techniques on Indra, resulting in Indra getting (fantasy) beaten up a bit.  Screen caps?  Sure:

Goodness, this entry is getting long.  I blame the pictures for taking up so much space.

Ok, let me speed this up:

We also had a competitive female wrestling match between Orlandoe and visiting MMA fighter Mahea.  Both of these ladies are blue belts in jiujitsu, so we figured they would make a nice match-up.  They turned out to be pretty dead even using rules for submissions-only and pins-and-submissions.  Their match was forced into a Sudden Death overtime, where we were able to finally declare a winner by pin after the long bout.

We were finally able to release VeVe's hitwoman video this past weekend, dubbed Triple Threat Femme Fatale.  Thanks to our patron for a fun script that gave VeVe a chance to take on her favorite sadistic / arrogant villainess role and also get 3 different deadly costume changes.  Adrian, Twiggy, and I got a painful shot of her meanness.  Hmm.

And what else?  There IS yet more...

I was just contacted by FEMWIN regarding throwing a female and mixed wrestling event here in New York City on October 4, 5, 6.  After a little hustling, I was able to secure studio space for long days of wrestling & filming for that weekend.

We are now currently in the process of securing our visiting talent.  After only a few days of talking, we have confirmed with VeVe Lane, Indra, Orlandoe (Oct 6 only), Amazon Annie (Oct 6 only), and Minxy Li.  Keri Spectrum has been chatting with us as well, and though Keri won't be able to compete in the event, she will be coming in as a visiting producer.  FEMWIN is also reaching out to ladies Skylar Rene and Jolene.  My local contacts are talking with ladies in the NJ area as well.

I'll keep you updated on this as it progresses.

As for this blog entry, let me hit send now before my internet connection kicks out at this cafe (cafes are the best place for composing, in my opinion).  Cheers!

Super Intense Summer: So Much Wrestling Filming!

This summer has been intense!   And I don't just mean the heat...

Here's a quick run-down.  I'll do the best I can, since I am composing in a cafe with very loud music, screaming babies, fresh-cut onion smell burning my eyes, and very loud-talking hipsters....

*sob*

In June, as you know from an earlier post, we had the little "wrestling holds party" with VeVe, Indra, Orlandoe, and Amazon Annie.  That's where we had the Scissor Squeeze Contest, which introduced Orlandoe's friend Benji.  We had the favorite holds, Indra putting VeVe into scissorholds, Amazon Annie's foot comparison with the other ladies, and a bondage Escape race with Indra and Orlandoe.

But also in June, we had the 2013 rematch of Kim of Italy vs VeVe, Latex Lube Wrestling with VeVe and Jay Dirtin, Toned Tommi's visit which yielded her judo throw video with Hanz and her 2-on-1 gang up with VeVe against Hanz.  We also released VeVe's bondage wrestling match with newcomer Conrad.

We also saw VeVe meet model Brian Alexander for a video with Brian wrestling a singlet and then a jockstrap.  Orlandoe put on her own pair of tight jeans and put VeVe into some scissorholds.    VeVe and Sircee had a pro-style match.

Whoa.  Then July...

VeVe and model Rachel Aurora filmed their lovely Pantyhose Bondage Attack! video (talked about in the Bondage Wrestling Blog).  Kim of Italy took on Hanz for a very close, grueling, and suspenseful competitive mixed wrestling match.  I think Hanz's improved skill and fitness took Kim by surprise on this one!  He keeps training hard at the gym and fighting VeVe, so that all pays off!  VeVe and Sircee filmed a new shiny sports pants domination video, where Sircee smothered VeVe as much as she could.

We filmed a storyline based cop/criminal video featuring VeVe, Twiggy, Adrian, and myself (Diablo), wherein hitwoman VeVe took us all down in various ways and in various outfits.

VeVe and Hanz created their Mixed Judo: Tomoe Nage video, wherein they throw each other over and over again throughout the course of 25 minutes.  Hanz's judo throw falls looked good in June's judo video with Tommi, so now he got a great chance to put them to use again.  And he did a great job!  Hanz has never studied judo before, but I was really impressed with how well he did in these last two throw videos.  And in this Tomoe Nage video, he even threw VeVe several times using that throw.

By the way, the Tomoe Nage, aka "monkey flip," aka "stomach throw," aka "front sacrifice throw," looks like this:

Prior to this video, and also in this season, VeVe filmed a judo throw video with Adrian (who outweighs Hanz by 20 lbs).  This video some stockings for VeVe:

Whoa, ok, what else?  Oh yes...

Amazon Annie filmed her version of Karate Nylons.  Jason returned to the scene to don the karate gi and be her opponent for this leotard & tights fantasy karate video.  I never thought to put Annie in leotard and pantyhose and have her throw kicks, but that ended up being a pretty good look.

VeVe and Twiggy also got together for their version of "Belly Punching Mixed Wrestling."  VeVe had this sort of match with "ShortFuse" Mark earlier this year, but Mark was thoroughly destroyed and offered little challenge as a competitor.  Twiggy, however, was a MUCH more game competitor.  Many belly punches were traded back and forth over the course of the 10-minute match.

VeVe also filmed a new muscle worship special request video.  Well, actually, Indra filmed it, literally.  She ran the camera while I got muscle-worship-dominated by VeVe.  This keeps happening!

And that's not all!

Coming up next week we have Mahea coming into town.  She is slated for two competitive female match with us: one against Kim and one against Orlandoe.

VeVe has also been talking about a multiple-attacker judo video for next week.  And probably something else too!  I need to check with her as soon as she gets back from her St Louis trip today.

Exhausting?  Yes!  August is coming up, and that means we make a company road trip down to Tampa, FL, for FetishCon.  Does it mean a break from filming?  Certainly not, since we somehow ended up booking things at FetishCon as well.

Ok, there's that for now.  Off to meet up with Kim and VeVe later!

July Competitive Wrestling, Female MMA Visitors, and Workout Contests

Wow, now that was a busy month!

July 2012 was VERY full of filming.  A wide variety of filmings.  Belly punching, workout sessions, competitive matches.  Many competitive mixed matches.  And I even got in on one of them.

I'm going to try to make this entry short, since I am in the process of selecting screen stills for the product page of our up-coming release of "VeVe Lane vs Mahea" (that's here).  I've got PhotoShop open and waiting for me, with images crying for yet more attention.  But VeVe just mentioned to me that she was going to try and write a blog of her own, so that reminded me to poke my head in here.

I think I've got the cover photo selected for that one, so that means the hardest part of image selection aspect for a particular video.  What one frame of the video can capture the essence of the entire piece... ?  Since we've had a few varied essences this year, I've also been making some 4-way covers.  However, of course, a single-image cover photo is larger and shows more detail.

Below, see single-image cover vs 4-way image cover:

See what I mean?

Anyway, that Tommi vs Hanz was from July as well.  The Dancewear Judo Domination with VeVe and me was from June.

To kick-off July, I travelled to the SheMuscle gym with VeVe and Orlandoe in order to film various contests between the two.  We filmed a 3-part fitness contest, as a follow-up to the Ab Workout Contest we filmed by special request in June.  Those July contest events were, in this order: Pull-ups, Biceps Curls, and Sissy Squats.  I placed those contests into our MixedWrestlingNYC clips4sale store.

All except the sissy squats, that is.  Why?  Because the ladies ended up being able to do so many sissy squats in so many rounds, that the video of that particular event alone ended up being over 20 minutes long.... of just sissy squats, both bodyweight style and with dumbbells.  So, that contest got pushed to the back of the queue, but I will try to get at it for anyone who really, REALLY just likes sissy squats.

We also filmed a two-way belly punching video, some sweaty glistening videos, and a video showcasing Orlandoe's under-arms.  We also filmed some additional footage to give to SheMuscle.  It was a great, long, productive, and very sweaty shoot day.

We also had the pleasure of filming with 3 professional female MMA fighters in July.  We filmed a special request mixed match with Toned Tommi and Hanz Vanderkill (see cover image above) on the very first weekend of the month.  This was a 60-minute match of "athletic domination" style, and both match participants did a great job with the style and direction.  Though Hanz was a fine choice for this particular video, I was a little sad not to get to have him face Tommi in a fully competitive match.  I do plan on setting that up at some point, but we have to cycle through a few times on various opponents before we will line up a "rematch," even if it is in a different style.

We also filmed with the wonderful Bad Bad Bettie when she visited us in the middle of the month.  We set Bettie up with a vote-determined video.  Essentially, we asked the fans what they would like to see, created a poll, followed heatedly-debated discussions, and finally went with what the majority selected: a one-sided karate-esque strike-based video with Bettie in a karate gi (uniform) against a male opponent.  Though we were originally looking to ShortFuse Mark to be our victim, since he was originally planning to be in town that day, Mark's travel plans fell through.  So, Graveyard stepped up to fill in.

The result was a Karate Strike-fest video in which Bettie showcased her punching, kicking, elbow, and knee accuracy against Graveyard.  And it was Graveyard's job to survive the strikes, stay standing (except for round 3), and make it through the strike-fest.  The video was 3 rounds long, which each round showcasing a different aspect of striking, moving from most punishing (face hits) to hitting the biggest area (body hits).

Then came the competitive wrestling escapades to finish off the month....

Toned Tommi returned to NYC at the end of July, this time accompanied by fellow female MMA fighter Mahea.

We were set up for a long shoot day with the MMA ladies to battle against Hanz, Adrian, and VeVe.  However, a slight scheduling snafu held us up from our original shoot day, leaving VeVe, Hanz, and myself in the studio together.  Never ones to waste a fight opportunity, we set VeVe up for a Mixed Wrestling Gauntlet.  First, I took on VeVe in a 20-minute competitive match (never before seen on our site) while Hanz filmed.  Following that, Hanz took on VeVe for another 20-minute match, with only enough break for her to change her bikini.

The matches were grueling for VeVe and entertaining for her opponents.  However, we filmed them under less-than-optimal lighting conditions, which resulted in less-than-immaculate image sharpness.
The result of that?
They move to the back of the queue, sadly.  Of course, we'd love to re-shoot this mixed wrestling gauntlet under better lighting conditions (except that I sprained my knee in jiujutsu class last week!  so infuriating! so, it may have to wait a while).

The very next day, we rescheduled with Tommi and Mahea, and we all proceed to film a ton of matches.

We grabbed VeVe on her lunch hour and first filmed the competitive female match of VeVe vs Tommi.  That was two 10-minute rounds in bikini / two-piece outfit, followed by a 10-minute 3rd round in the jiujitsu gi (uniform).  We also filmed an arm wrestling match after that.

Since Adrian was unavailable for the Monday shoot, we immediately called on Blazin' Ben.  It was a very last-minute shot in the dark, but with only a few hours' notice to prepare, Ben responded affirmatively and made it over for the match.  And so, about 10 minutes following her match with VeVe, Tommi took on Blazin' Ben in a competitive mixed match of 20 minutes in length.

We took a break for a few hours and then returned later in the evening to film Mahea vs Hanz.  As far as I know, this was the first competitive mixed match on video for Mahea (pronounced "ma-HEY-a"), though, being a pro MMA fighter, she has her fair share of training experience with male training partners.

Then, two days later we reconvened to filmed the final match of the month: VeVe vs Mahea.  Again on VeVe's lunch hour!

And speaking of VeVe vs Mahea... yikes,  I need to finish that photo selection process!  Well, I did say I would try to make the entry brief.  However, the month itself was not brief, and it just wouldn't be fair to short change it, given all the action that is fresh in my mind.

Ok, back to getting that video all set to go.  And now, onward into August!
